Stop What You’re Doing and Watch ‘Blade Runner’ Recreated with Over 12,000 Watercolor Paintings

This tribute to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, lovingly rendered in 12,597 watercolor paintings, is absolutely breathtaking. The short film, created by Swedish artist Anders Ramsell, is a “paraphrasing” of the original movie. The audio from the most important scenes is played over Ramsell’s painted recreations of each frame.

The “Tears in Rain” speech starts at 31:45, for those who want to skip ahead.
